Yuppy Puppy is a family owned business owned by Peter Whitaker and his daughter Lucy and son Simon. These three own 100% of the stock of the corporation. All three are avid dog lovers and this business is a perfect match for their interests. We think it shows in the way we run the business and care about how we do it and what we do.

Lucy Whitaker

Lucy is President of Yuppy Puppy and a trained pet Technician, certified by the American Boarding Kennel Association (ABKA). Lucy, along with her Labrador dogs Marley and Sophie, oversees the day-to-day operations of the company. Lucy lives nearby the facility in Libertyville.

Simon Whitaker

Simon is a Vice President of the company. He is involved in all aspects of the business and its day-to-day operations. When she behaves, his mutt Guiness accompanies him to Yuppy Puppy. Simon also lives nearby in Libertyville.

Peter Whitaker

Peter is the Chairman of the Board of Yuppy Puppy. Peter is involved in the major financial and strategic areas of the business and at times is called upon to help out with day to day activities. Peter lives in Deerfield with his two crazy dogs, Peanuts and Snoopy.
